Baccarat is another card game which is played with a basic intention of gambling. Here the player can bet in three options mainly player banker and tie .these three are options only and the word player does not necessarily mean a player as its widely thought as.
Baccarat is different from other card games due to fact that 10 is worth 0 . The highest score that can be achieved is 9. Two picture cards would have a score of 0. A 9 and a 6 would not equal 15 but 5. the ace is counted as 1 and the rest of the cards retain their face value. The player wins if has a card value closest to nine

History of baccarat?
The history and origin of baccarat is quite a debatable proposition as its roots are found in both Italian and French vocabulary. This is because The Italian word "baccarat" means "zero" in English. so also the French word "baccarat" .it is widely believed that it was first invented by an Italian gambler Felix Falguierein in the middle ages and first was played with a deck of Tarot cards. The game was also played in France around the same time and was an exclusive game of the French nobility for some time before becoming a casino game..
Finally, Tommy Renzoni brought this fancy game to the United States in the late 1950s as a combination of European baccarat and "Chemin de fer". It was introduced into Las Vegas in the 1950s and soon became a legend among the card games.

Variations of baccarat?

If the banker's point is the better, the stakes of the punter become the property of the bank. If the punters' point is the better, the banker (or the croupier for him) pays each punter the amount of his stake. The stakes are made afresh, and the game proceeds. When the first supply of cards is exhausted, the croupier takes a fresh handful from the heap before him, has them cut by the player on his left, and hands them to the banker

American baccarat
American Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. The cards are shuffled by the dealer, and then placed in a special box called the "shoe." the shoe is passed counterclockwise around the table, and each "Player" alternate being the "Banker". This rules although looks a bit stranze at first, but there are always "Callers" at the table to assist you, and if you do not want to deal, you may pass the shoe to the next player. The same person will keep dealing as long as the "banker" hand keeps winning.
The player with the shoe represents the banker-hand, although the player takes no additional risk and the casino remains the banker. Even though the player dealing is acting as the Banker, he is not obligated to bet on the Banker's hand and it’s totally optional. American Baccarat' has fixed rules unlike European backarette and this results in final hands of either two or three cards for each. The dealer keeps track of the player-hand and the banker-hand totals and announces the winning hand. The winning hand will be the hand that holds two or three cards totaling closest to nine. If there is a tie, bets on the banker or player are returned.

The main difference of european backarat from its american counterpart is that The banker (controlled by dealer) also has an option on whether to draw a third card also Whenever a player wants to cover the entire banker's bet, he calls out "banco" and no other players are allowed to bet during that round.

Mini-baccarat 
Although the rules are essentially the same the difference lies in the fact that this game is played at a smaller table which is very similar to a blackjack tableand only . A single dealer handles the entire game, including dealing the cards. The pace at which the game is played is also usually much faster than the "big baccarat" version.. In casinos outside of Las Vegas and Atlantic City, this is actually the only version of baccarat that is offered
Although the game is quite simplistic in appearance the game offers some of the lowest house advantage available in a casino. The player bet has a house advantage of 1.24%, and the banker bet (despite the 5% commission) has an advantage of 1.06%. The tie bet has a much higher house advantage of 14.44%, based on six decks in play. For all transaction the Casino takes a percentage commission, which is usually around 5% on all winning Bank hands
